TASTING NOTES
A very complex and satisfying Chardonnay from Cakebread, 86% of the juice for this wine is fermented in French oak barrels and it is aged for eight months on its lees. The result is a wine with lovely texture and very good balance.
PRODUCER NOTES
Based in Oakville, the Cakebread family quickly forged a reputation with their weighty, dry Sauvignon Blanc, which was followed up with great review for their Chardonnay and weighty Cabernet Sauvignons.
