Toni Bodenstein is not only among the world’s most exciting winemakers, he is also one of the foremost experts on terroir. Who better, then, to give us an Austrian masterclass looking at Riesling and Gruner Veltliner? This is an opportunity to taste with, listen to and ask questions of this charismatic and supremely talented individual, that is making some of the very best examples of wine from Austria’s signature white grapes.
A quick look at the scores and praise coming from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate (not to mention a string of other critics) will tell you all you need to know about the quality of these wines. Not only that, but Toni has promised to bring some older vintages with him to demonstrate just how well these wines age.
