Few geographic landmarks mean as much to the wine aficionado as the Rhône Valley’s hill of Hermitage. Some of the best winemakers in the world specialise in making red and white wines from this wonderful terroir and what better way to get to know them than a comparative tasting of some of the best? In order to crown someone ‘King of the Hill’ we will compare three top producers from three vintages - Chave, Chapoutier and Jaboulet. In addition to these we will take a look at a Hermitage Blanc and finish the night with a mature example from another great producer, Marc Sorrel.
