In the first of a series of tastings that will focus on specific grapes, we begin with what many consider to be the most noble of all the white varieties: Riesling. Taking in wines and producers from all over the old and new worlds, the tasting will begin by looking at the role geography plays in the differences between styles. We will then look at the German labelling system and taste wines from each rung on the sweetness ladder before sampling some older vintages to look at how Riesling ages. Wines and vintages TBC
