BORDEAUX: THE HAUT BRION FAMILY
Please note this event has already happened
Date: 7pm, Thursday 19th November 2009
Price: £80.00
Chateau Haut-Brion is the doyen of Pessac-Leognan and the first superpremium wine to hit British shores way back in the days of Samuel Pepys (he recorded it in his diary as ‘Ho Bryan’). Today there are a number of properties in the appelllation with Haut-Brion in their name and most (but not all) are now owned by the Dillon family.
This tasting will cover the major properties in the family, sampling the red and white wines that have made this name one of the most respected in the world of wine.
Among the highlights will be Plantiers, Larrivet, Latour, Les Carmes, Laville, Bahans and La Chapelle - finishing off with La Mission Haut Brion and Haut Brion itself (red & white).
