This is like the Morgeot in the sense that there is mild reduction present on the nose yet the impression is fresh anyway with muted aromas of green fruit, citrus blossom and a hint of crushed stone that is also reflected by the punchy and beautifully detailed medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent drive on the crystalline-like finish. An elegant and pure nose features notes of honeysuckle, lemon peel and plenty of wet stone hints that give way to texture, sappy and equally pure middle weight flavors that, not surprisingly, are much finer than those of the Morgeot, all wrapped in a highly intense and strikingly long finish. This is perhaps the ripest wine to this point with a naturally spicy and mildly exotic yellow fruit nose that is admirably seductive and evidences a hint of lychee nut. The plush medium-bodied flavors possess excellent concentration and impressive finishing power on the mouth coating finish where plenty of dry extract is evident. Here the floral and citrus-infused nose is fresher and with slightly better integration of the wood treatment that introduces pretty and intense medium weight flavors that possess good if not great delineation and an underlying mineral streak on the moderately long finish that also evidences a bit of wood. 'An expressive and maturing nose displays mildly exotic fruit aromas that also include more classic nuances of green apple, pear and fennel that continue onto the rich, full, naturally sweet and textured medium-bodied flavors that exude an intense minerality on the admirably long finish.
