If you can’t make it over to Kensington for our Roberson Wine School courses that’s no reason not to expand your wine knowledge. We also offer our unique 'Wine School in a Box', offering you the chance to learn about wine at home in your own time and your own way. It is designed to inform without being pretentious and be entertaining without talking down. No specialist knowledge is assumed or required, all you need is to enjoy drinking wine and be interested in learning more.

The box includes twelve bottles of excellent wine specifically chosen to illustrate different points. You taste the wines in a specific order, guided by the included booklet which covers all the same ground featured in our Wine School classes.

Working through the course you will:

• Learn how to taste wine.
• Learn what wine is and how different grape varieties affect the flavour.
• Learn where wine comes from and how this changes its taste.
• Learn who makes wine and how their decisions affect it.
• Learn when wine is ready to drink and how different vintages and ages change it.
• Test your palate by trying an outstanding bottle of wine blind.
