Fine Wine Logistics Co-Ordinator

About Us:

We love wine, of course, whether it’s come from a classic estate, from one of our fantastic boutique producers, or from our impossibly cool urban winery – the UK’s first – underneath our office near West Brompton tube station. We have an office dog and a winery dog. The humans in the office, meanwhile, are an irreverent, sociable bunch who like a laugh and are passionate about sharing the vinous love.

It's not all off the cuff, though – far from it. Bringing great wine to people requires just as much passion about customer service, attention to detail and seeing things through to completion as it does about which producer we’re listing next, or who’ll be up for buying the latest release of Mayacamas. Which is why we’re on the lookout for a diligent, analytic, service-focused individual to help our Fine Wine team deliver and grow.

Reporting to the Head of Fine Wine, you’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day logistical activity of Roberson’s Fine Wine team to enable:

  • On-Time In-Full delivery of Fine Wine orders to Trade and Private Customers
  • Prompt invoicing and payment collection
  • Accurate inventory maintenance

To do this, you’ll get stuck into these kinds of things:

  • Purchase and sales order creation and completion
  • Arranging deliveries to bonded warehouses and private addresses
  • Creation and set up of new products and prices
  • Organising product shipping from suppliers in Europe and the US
  • Resolving customer enquiries
  • Supporting the Fine Wine team in events and product launches
  • Creating and analysing data on customers, products and trends to support sales

…and you’ll be working with these kinds of people:

  • 3rd party warehouse and distribution partners
  • Customers’ warehousing and storage facilities
  • Trade and Private Customers
  • Internal Finance, Sales and Operations teams

To be a success at this you’ll be able to demonstrate these attributes:

  • A great attitude and a strong customer service ethic
  • Knowledge of the Fine Wine industry and wine shipping
  • System experience, ideally MS Dynamics/Business Central (Bevica) and Vision WMS
  • The ability to hit deadlines and follow things through
  • Tenacity and critical thinking
  • Self-starting and great teamworking skills

If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you. In return, we’ll offer you:

  • a salary between £25k-£30k
  • 25 days’ holiday
  • Flexible hours
  • a mobile phone allowance and a laptop
  • a personal training budget
  • a great staff discount
  • a pension

We may occasionally ask you to travel for work – but there’s at least a 50% chance it’ll be somewhere nice; if not, it’ll probably be a warehouse.

Interested? Send a CV and a covering email to to tell us why you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
