This is an amazing example of Pinot noir from Germany. A wine that has true elegance and style, everything a Burgundy would have to offer at a fraction of the price.

Sybille Kuntz is an exciting young winemaker in the Mosel, who grew up in a family deeply rooted in wine; from barrel making to looking after the wines of other producers. Her own wines are designed to showcase the amazing quality the region is known for.
Husband and wife team Hans-Bert Espe and Silke Wolf founded their own estate in 2003 and made their first wines in a disused Canadian air-bunker. With old-vine plantings in the villages of Kenzingen and Malterdingen, they have a reputation for making some of the best red wines in the region.
It's officially a German wine but it's actually half French! Weingut Jülg, based in western Pfalz is just stone’s throw from the French border, and half of the estate vineyards are actually in Alsace. Winemaker Johannes has worked tirelessly in the vineyards planting new French clones in the pursuit of making wines with greater balance and complexity.
Lively & fresh with a gentle concentration but this is clearly a cut above a stereotypical Pinot Grigio. Subtle fruit flavours and aromas are accompanied by nuttiness and herbal notes all balanced with a refreshing finish.
Holger Koch's wines are very much German with a French accent. This Weissburgunder is similar to the very best of Alsace Pinot Blanc. Grown on higher elevation, windy terraces atop the Kaiserstuhl hills, that produce pure, perfectly ripe grapes with balanced flavour and texture.
Wittmann is to German winemaking as Mercedes is to car manufacture. They are one of the leading wineries in the Rheinhessen and a pioneer in Germany's new wave, producing biodynamic wines with terroir expression and extreme precision. This wine has a great lemony acidity and a long dry finish with a hint of wet stone.
A perfect introduction to the off-dry styles of Mosel Riesling. The iron-infused, red slate soil produces wines that are structured and complex, with an intense mineral finish. The Treppchen vineyard around the village of Erden is so steep that all vineyard work is carried out by hand.
A 13cl bottle of Oppenheimer Kreuz Riesling Auslese 2018 by Weingut Carl Koch. A white wine from Germany. Made from Riesling.
Sourced from the prized and historic Hundertgulden vineyard in the Rheinhessen, which has been declared as the most limestone rich vineyard in all of Germany. This gives the Rieslings a powerful mineral core with energy and freshness. This wine is typified by juicy citrus fruits and a lasting finish.
Inspired by Burgundy, made in Baden. After spending a year in Gevrey, Claus's son Johannes has taken over the reins at the family winery and is producing high quality wines that are incredibly good value. This lush Pinot from the warmer southern region of Baden is quite full, with lots of character and minerality.
