BRAMARE MALBEC 'LUJAN DE CUYO' 2016
VINA COBOS

Vina Cobos is the winery belonging to Paul Hobbs, the winemaker responsible for the Malbec revolution that happened in the late 80's in Argentina. Starting out at Catena, Argentina's most respected winery, Paul decided to go it alone and establish his winery in 1998. All his wines are elegant and subtle, highly powerful and full flavoured. The Bramare range highlights the diversity of the Mendoza wine regions, and shows the incredible potential of the Luján de Cuyo appellation.

  • Red and black fruits stand out on the nose.
  • The palate is broad, with mouth-filling tannins and a brooding intensity.
  • Aged for 18 months in American and French oak.
  • Drink now and over the next 5-10 years.
  • Serve with a slow roasted leg of lamb.
