BUSH VINE CHENIN BLANC 2018
THE WINERY OF GOOD HOPE

A much underrated grape variety, this Chenin Blanc is grown from old, natural bush vines in the Stellenbosch. Dry, crisp and fresh, it is an interesting alternative to Sauvignon Blanc.

  • Lots of citrus fruit flavours; dry with bracing acidity and lovely minerality.
  • Vineyards are in the Helderberg area of Stellenbosch on granite soils and ocean-facing gravelly slopes.
  • Fermentation in stainless steel vats; kept on lees for nine months prior to bottling.
  • A great match with grilled cod
