“This is a lovely wine, in the mould of traditional Cheval Blanc with more than a hint of Cabernet fragrance on the nose then St-Emilion richness on the palate. Well rounded and beautifully balanced. No hurry to drink it. Far from a blockbuster but fine, racy and elegant. Not for those who see freshness as a fault though. Persistent. One taster was inspired to order a case the next morning, only to find that he already had - for £400 from Farr some years ago.' ”
