CHÂTEAU MOULINET 2008

A blend of around 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, the wines of Château Moulinet are crafted by Stéphane Derenoncourt, whose other credits include overseeing the winemaking at Domaine de Chevalier and Petit Village.

  • Fresh black cherry nose with a palate full of intense fruitiness; lovely tannins.
  • Located in the north-west of Pomerol, the vineyards are planted on gravel and sandy soil.
  • Wines are matured for a minimum of 12 months in 35% new oak.
  • This will drink well up to 15 years from release.
  • Enjoy with steak in black pepper sauce.
