CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE 2008
CHÂTEAU DE BEAUCASTEL

All thirteen permitted grape varieties go into the blend for Beaucastel's Châteauneuf-du-Pape, making it one of the most complex and compelling wines of the region.

  • Spicy red and blackcurrant fruit with lovely tobacco notes; medium to full-bodied with ripe, juicy tannins.
  • The Perrin family, owners of Château de Beaucastel, favour organic and biodynamic farming methods.
  • All thirteen varieties are vinified separately and with little interference; then blended in oak.
  • Drink up until 20 years after the vintage date.
  • Beautiful with coq au vin.
