“Roberson has come up trumps here with a value-for-money bottle that's Chianti Classico in all but name. Young-vine fruit has produced a wine with bouncy energy and gushing with cherry juiciness, and thanks to a year's sojourn in wood, it's also markedly creamy, even slightly chocolaty on the finish. It's a top wine at a great price with more expensive siblings that also impress us.”
