Piedrasassi's Syrahs are tiny production, cool-climate wines made by one of the best winemakers in California. PS is their entry-level wine. Offering absolutely stunning value, it has much of the complexity and elegance of the single vineyard offerings.

“Deep, concentrated, flavour-driven Syrahs were the first wines I grew to love, and this wine is the perfect example why. PS is a real knockout, from one of the biggest names in California. Layers of fruit, herbs and liquorice build in the glass to an intensity that is so appealing, mouth-watering and moreish! Hard to believe a wine of this class is the entry-level wine in the range. With such small production, this is fast achieving cult status, and once you’ve had a glass it isn’t hard to see why. A great wine to share and show off with friends over dinner or by itself. Or keep it all to yourself – sharing is overrated anyway!”

“Piedrasassi's 2013 P.S. Syrah is exuberant and flamboyant to the core. The flavors are deep and inky, with plenty of blue/purplish fruit, lavender, violet, licorice and black pepper notes in support. The P.S. is sold only to a limited number of trade clients, so it is hard to find, which is a shame, as it is absolutely delicious. ”
