RÉGNIÉ 'GRAIN & GRANIT' 2017
CHARLY THÉVENET

Charly started making wine in Régnié (a cru adjacent to Morgon) in 2007, because he felt that it was an underrated appellation with massive potential. He uses small yields from old vines, farming with organic and biodynamic methods.

  • A richer style of Gamay, showing how exciting and diverse this grape can be.
  • Great acidity, incredible depth and a bright mineral character.
  • Matured in four year old Burgundy barriques, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
  • Drink up to 7 years after release
  • Match with meat dishes in sauce, vegetable stews and wild game
