SANTA BARBARA COUNTY CHARDONNAY 2017
AU BON CLIMAT

A fantastically well-made Chardonnay in a style influenced by Burgundy but true to the Californian climate. Very well balanced and with immense ageing potential. The wine is a blend of 4 of their best vineyards, all planted over 20 years ago. This Chardonnay will keep evolving in the bottle and gaining in complexity years after years. A true delight, excellent value.

  • Lemon curd, lime and vanilla at first, gentle oaky notes.
  • The flinty, stony character in the background balances out the richness of fruit.
  • Can age for the next 20 years, easily.
  • Pairs beautifully with creamy chanterelle pasta.
