“This boasts a rosy salmon-copper colour - not quite rosé - which Selosse refers to as a 'vin taché'. It's a full-bodied style, from 100% Pinot Noir grown on the east-facing side of the hill, with pomegranate, hibiscus flower, blood orange, kirsch and strawberries, and a mineral note of white ashes. Briny character with a savoury note of nonpareil capers carries through to the finish. Very unusual and thought-provoking.”
