  • The wines from this plot are rich and ripe, mineral, and long in the mouth. They can be long-lived, thanks to the capacity of the terroir to preserve the acidity in the grapes.
  • The predominantly limestone soil enjoys excellent exposure overlooking the village of Chassagne-Montrachet.
  • The village appellation 'Chassagne-Montrachet' comes from a single parcel of vines lying at the extreme northern end of the village in the named plot "Les Houillères" and bordering the Puligny-Montrachet appellation.
  • Can be enjoyed now or can age for up to 5 years.
  • Pairs delightfully alongside seared scallops, butter chicken or a semi-soft cheese such as a Gruyère or  Emmental.
