"From a high-terraced slope above the Isère valley, Roussanne grown here gives a consistently fine, rich and complex wine. Honeyed and stony on the nose, it tastes unctuous, yet with balancing acidity and hints of apricot and saline character towards the finish. • Expressive and pleasant bouquet of exotic fruits, flowers, apricot, mango, lilac, acacia and dried fruit aromas. On the palate, a nice volume with a clear aromatic smoky mineral intensity and odours of quince and ripe fruit. Persistent finish with a hint of lemon.
  • Produced from the Rousanne grape (known locally as Bergeron), grown on particularly steep south-facing hillsides.
  • Michel Quenard bottles eight different cuvées in his winery, seven of which are still, and the other a sparkling Vin de Savoie Brut.
  • Why not try this alongside a rich and creamy Spaghetti Carbonara, or with pan-fried lobster.
  • Can age for upwards of 5 years.
