Condrieu Les Terroirs is a blend from three sites totalling 1.5 hectares, with vines averaging 30 years in age. The wine is matured in oak, producing a notably mineral, fresh style of Viognier.

- On the nose, all the exoticism you'd expect of the grape variety, with ripe peach, pineapple and even a touch of lychee. This wine offers much more precision and freshness with a honeysuckle delicacy and wonderful saline, mineral line that runs through the palate, holding things together . Deliciously viscous in texture, but with plenty of juicy acidity to cut through the sheer weight of the fruit. The use of oak is beautifully judged.
- The emphasis is firmly in the vineyard, with a sustainable approach, avoiding chemicals in all but the most severe vintages.
- François Merlin is one of the most exciting names in the Northern Rhône today, producing elegant Syrah and Viognier.
- Pairs nicely with prawns in a creamy sauce, chicken and mango salad, or a hearty fish curry.
- Can be enjoyed when released, but has potential to age for up to 5 years.
