Costières de Nîmes is the southernmost appellation of the Rhône located on the western side of the river where it winds into the Mediterranean. Historically known for bulk wine production, the region is experiencing a transition towards characterful, well made wines expertly produced by small and dynamic estates. This delicious white wine is a fantastic example of that; fresh and easy drinking, versatile with a range of foods and at an everyday price.

Costières de Nîmes Blanc 'Generations' 2020
  • A blend of old vine Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier.
  • Fresh and lively with flavours of ripe stone fruits and aromas of acacia honeysuckle.
  • A wonderful creamy texture with notes of hazelnut and almond.
  • Through meticulous pruning, yields are kept low to improve concentration and quality of the remaining fruit.
  • Spread over more than 70 hecatares, the domaine has vines in some of the best terroirs of Costières de Nîmes.
  • The region used to be described as eastern Languedoc but the climate, soils and the wines are much more similar to the southern Rhône.
  • A typical vineyard feature is scattering of large rounded pebbles (galets roulés), famously associated with Châteauneuf-du-Pape. They help insulate the vineyards and protect from temperature extremes.
