This excellent-value white comes from the Abruzzo region of central Italy. The gentle Adriatic breezes play their part in creating a favourably mild climate that yields well-balanced whites.

Sisters Marilina and Federica Paternò have based themselves in the southeast of Sicily where they farm organically and adopt traditional winemaking methods such as use of inert vessels for ageing, air-drying grapes and extended skin maceration for white wines. Founded in the 1920s’ by great-grandfather Bepi, Claudio Mariotto’s family have been making wine in the Tortona hills of Piedmont for generations. Working solely with native grape varieties, and often saving them from near extinction, Claudio's wines are exceptionally well made and great value for money. This Freisa shows concentration, minerality, complexity and impeccable wood integration.
Truly exceptional Primitivo from Decanter Magazine's acclaimed producer 'Fatalone'. This wine is hearty, full flavoured with plenty of body and depth. The estate farms organically, and has a 'hands off' approach to winemaking, allowing the full personality of the terroir shine through.
The Gabbas estate has been part of the Gabbas family for generations and winemaker Giuseppe is now one of the most renowned in Sardinia. His wines are best known for being true examples of traditional Sardinian styles. The estate consists of 20 hectares of vines, with Cannonau di Sardegna making up of 80% of their cultivation. Known on mainland Europe as Grenache, the wines are fragrant with floral bouquets, fresh & juicy with soft tannins and a long spicy finish.
From a winery dating back to 1893, Cantina Terlano are a benchmark estate for Alto Adige wines. This is a wonderfully fresh, and vibrant Pinot Bianco that integrates weight on the palate and light floral notes seamlessly.
Started in 2002 by the masterminds behind the world famous Sassicaia, Agricola Punica is a Sardinian venture applying the Super Tuscan model to the idyllic setting of Sardinia. The Montessu is a stylish, fresh red, with spiced black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit. Accents of wild herbs and green olive deliver a long finish held together by supple tannins.
Local varietal Piedirosso grown on the volacanic slopes of Mt Vesuvius produces an energetic red wine bursting with fresh autumnal fruits kissed with notes of balsamic. Held together wonderfully by fine-grained tannins and a minerality that is reflective of its volcanic home. Best in Show for Southern Italy at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2021. 97 Points.
This Montefalco Bianco DOC shouts “Umbria”, reminding you of the beautiful hills, the rich agricultural culture in this area, and the unique indigenous grapes like the Trebbiano Spoletino, which has been cultivated here for centuries. This elegant white wine is bright and complex, layering fruits, minerality, and salinity.
