English wines are primarily produced in the same style and method as Champagne. This is due to a lot of similarities in climate and soil, between the Champagne region and popular English wine growing counties such as Sussex and Kent. As a result, English sparkling wines have become very popular and enjoyed by critics and wine lovers alike. In recent years though, English still wines are starting to gain popularity. Thanks to warmer, longer summers, English grapes are growing ripe enough to produce delicious still wines. Every year, English wines get better and better. These are definitely ones to watch.
