Domaine Georges Roumier

Georges Roumier passed away in 1965, leaving his estate to be divided between seven children in time-honoured Burgundian fashion. However, the Roumier clan bucked the trend and formed a limited company in order to keep the domaine intact.

Today the reins are held by Christophe Roumier, grandson of Georges and widely recognised as one of Burgundy’s most gifted winemakers.

Intent on using his wines as a showcase for the terroir from whence they came, Roumier consistently makes some of the best wines in the Côte d’Or.
