Burgundy is not the easiest place to find great value, so when we come across an undiscovered grower making exceptional wines at great prices, we snap them up as fast as can. Domaine Petitot is one such rare find - a small, family-owned producer dedicated to making classic, silky, complex Burgundy without the usual price tag.
The family have lived locally for generations, and started growing in the late 1970s. The vineyard is now run by Hervé, who focuses his work in the vineyard and his wife Nathalie (a qualified oenologue), who works in the cellar using relatively traditional wine methods.
The Domaine Petitot team have a huge respect for the estate's terroir and, for the money, the quality is truly outstanding. If you haven't already, don't hesitate - try them today.
