T-Oinos estate's Clos Stegasta vineyard is located in the mountainous centre of the Cyclades island of Tinos and is home to one of the world's most extraordinary terroirs.
Giant granite boulders (thrown there in legend by the titans) are strewn amongst the rows of vines. Temperatures can be 5 - 10 degrees cooler than at sea level, and the vineyard is routinely covered in snow during winter.
T-Oinos Estate's resulting Clos Stegasta Assyrtiko is one of the most distinctive and concentrated we've ever tasted. Showing the variety's characteristic saline acidity, with the structure and opulence of Grand Cru Burgundy, this is arguably Greece's greatest white.
