Local varietal Piedirosso grown on the volacanic slopes of Mt Vesuvius produces an energetic red wine bursting with fresh autumnal fruits kissed with notes of balsamic. Held together wonderfully by fine-grained tannins and a minerality that is reflective of its volcanic home. Best in Show for Southern Italy at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2021. 97 Points.
