Vinicola Corellana was founded in 1989. They use grape varieties native to Navarra, including Garnacha, Graciano, Tempranillo and Mazuelo, in addition to some international varieties, such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. They hand-pick their grapes and have a focus on creating fine wines with a strong regional personality.
Made with grapes from the best vineyards in the mountainous sub-region of Condado within the Rías Baixas DO. A highly refreshing wine, with a striking acidity along with a pronounced aromatic intensity.
A lighter style Rioja with no oak ageing. ripe plums and orange blossom, the tannins are fine and there is a long fruit driven finish. The lack of oak means that the grape dominates the wine with a purity of fruit. Lanzaga is the second vineyard site of established Spanish winemakers Remelluri. The site cooler in temperature than most of Rioja and the rest is a fresher, light and more lively Rioja furthered by the distinct lack of oak ageing.
Six generation family winemakers Bodegas Las Orcas have made a high quality Rioja at a great price. Made mostly with Tempranillo and a touch of Graciano, this Crianza has spent 14 months in French oak barrels.
