A king among rosé wines from trendsetting Austrian winemaker, Gerhard Pittnauer. Made from Zweigelt grapes it has an impressive fresh charm. Uncomplicated and versatile, it's a great rosé for sipping on a balmy afternoon.
Beautifully bright, red fruits and hints of citrus.
A blend of 80% Blaufränkisch, 10% Zweigelt, 10% St. Lauret.
Gerhard Pittnauer made the decision to only grow autochthonous varietals. These are varietals of grape that are historic to an area, meaning Pittnauer makes use of Austrian clones, that are the best suited to the land.
Drinks beautifully now whilst still young and fresh.
Delicious with any seafood, or try with fresh focaccia and olive oil.
Offers much more than your average Grüner Veltliner in terms of complexity and elegance. Dry and full of flavour, this is quite simply one of the most impressive we have ever tried at this price.
Produced from the single vineyard, 'Hermanschachern', which mirrors the soils of Chablis; rich in ancient fossils and oyster shells. Full-bodied, with great acidity, this excellently shows site definition. This is a Grand Cru of Austrian wines. The vineyard is now certified organic and suitable for vegans.
With vines that root themselves into the soils for at least 30 years before harvest, this single vineyard Riesling is an absolute delight. Organic viticulture has become an obligation for Marion and Manfred thanks to their extraordinary respect for nature, the soils and traditional vinification, and the authenticity that these bring to the wine.
