Although we attempt to ensure prices are accurate at all times, errors sometimes occur. We will not be obliged to fulfil orders for items that are priced incorrectly.

Individual wine bottles (especially from older vintages) vary in appearance. The photographs on this site are for illustrative purposes only and do not necessarily reflect the appearance of the bottle(s) you will receive.
You must be of legal drinking age in your country of residence (18 in the UK) to order on this site.
When you place an order online you receive an email with the details. This acknowledges that your order has been received but not confirmed. Confirmation is subject to stock, payment, description and price verification and validation. Once this has been carried out, we send you a despatch confirmation email, and at that point your contract to purchase is complete. If there are any problems, we will contact you. We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time until the contract to purchase is complete.
We will cancel any order that fails our credit card fraud checks, or on the advice of our payment provider, the issuing bank or the cardholder. If an order is shown to be fraudulent, we will inform the police and cancel any further orders by the same customer.
We only accept orders for delivery to physical addresses. We do not accept orders for delivery to P.O. boxes.
All deliveries must be signed for by an adult of legal drinking age in the destination country (18 in the UK).
Although we make every effort to ensure orders are delivered on time, all delivery dates and times are only estimates and not guarantees.
For most deliveries, wine will be repacked in transit-safe packaging. The original packaging will not be included.
In the event that your order or part of your order is broken in transit we will issue a refund for the broken items. Should your order arrive damaged you may either refuse the entire delivery or note down the damage with the delivery driver when receiving the goods. If you sign for the goods without doing this, it will be assumed they have been received in good condition.
In the event that the wrong products are delivered to you we will replace them (provided we can still supply the product(s) from stock) or have them returned to us and issue a refund. You will not be liable for any additional delivery charges.
In the event that you are not able to receive delivery and you do not rearrange it with our courier within their specified time frame, your order may be returned to us. Should this happen, we reserve the right to charge you for any subsequent delivery attempt.
If you order for collection from our offices you must bring photographic ID and the card used to pay for your order. Without these, we will not release it. If you do not pick your order up within one month of purchase, the order will be cancelled, the stock will be returned to our warehouse and you will be refunded.
We cannot ship gift packaging, Wine Club cases and certain other restricted items to addresses outside the UK.
Tasting tickets and gift vouchers can only be sent by email.
Under the UK’s Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your entire order and receive a full refund, including for the original delivery charge, for up to fourteen days beginning from the day on which you receive the goods. To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your contract by a clear statement, including details of your name, geographical address, details of the order you wish to cancel and, where available, your phone number and email address. You must then arrange to have the goods returned to us at the above address. If we can collect the items from within our main delivery area (mainland England, Wales and Scotland, excluding the Highlands) we will arrange a courier free of charge on request. Outside that area, you will be liable for the cost of the return. You are required to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession such that they are returned to us in a saleable condition. Your refund will be issued via your original payment method.
If you wish to return a purchase to us, we will exchange it, issue a credit or refund you. You must return the items within 35 days of delivery and are required to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession such that they are returned to us in a saleable condition. If we can collect the items from within our main delivery area (mainland England, Wales and southern Scotland) we will arrange a courier free of charge on request. Outside that area, you will be liable for the cost of the return.
If we verify that a non-fine wine (under £60) you buy from us is corked or otherwise faulty we will issue a credit on return of the bottle in question. To qualify for a credit the wine must have been purchased within the last six months and not damaged or improperly stored. If you suspect a problem, reseal the wine in the bottle and contact us within 48 hours. We may then make arrangements to have the bottle returned to us for testing.
Fine wine (£60+) is not covered by this policy and is dealt with on a case-by-case basis. If you suspect a problem, reseal the wine in the bottle and contact us within 48 hours. If we cannot resolve the problem ourselves we may refer you to the producer or UK agent.
All credits for corked or otherwise faulty wine are issued at our sole discretion.
When you sign up to the Roberson Wine Club we take your credit card details, but we do not charge you until the next payment is due, on or around the first working day of March, June, September and December. After the first charge, we will attempt to charge you the quarterly subscription fee each March, June, September and December. We may attempt to charge any cards you have on file with us. If we are unable to obtain authorisation from your bank, we will hold your delivery and contact you. Your case will be delivered shortly after we successfully take payment.
After your first payment, you may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us or by logging in to My Account and following the instructions. As soon as you cancel, your membership benefits cease and any discounts you were entitled to become invalid.
Your membership entitles you to 10% off most products sold on this website. Wine Club discount applies only to wines under £50 a bottle. Excludes products already on offer, Wine Club membership and gift vouchers. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, including case discounts. We reserve the right to exclude further products from this scheme and to otherwise alter its terms without notice.
Roberson Wine Club membership is only available in certain parts of the UK (most of mainland England, Wales and southern Scotland). We cannot ship Wine Club cases to other destinations. Your subscription charge includes delivery to most of the UK (mainland England, Wales and southern Scotland).
All Roberson Wine Club cases consist of six bottles and are selected entirely by Roberson Wine. The contents of the cases cannot be altered, and wines cannot be exchanged or returned unless they are corked or out of condition, when the same terms apply as above.
We may adjust Wine Club benefits and these terms and conditions at any time. You have the right to cancel your subscription in the light of any changes or whenever you wish.
Your booking is not secured until payment is received. Payment must be made in advance by cheque or credit card only. Where a deposit is taken, this is non-refundable after 4 weeks before the event.
In the event of cancellation for any reason, exchanges or full refunds will only be given if we are notified at least 28 days before the date of the event. Up to 2 weeks prior to the event you may send a substitute or transfer to another course/tasting. Within 2 weeks of the event you may, if you are unable to attend a course, send a substitute – no refunds will be provided. If you do not attend a booked event, no refund will apply except under exceptional circumstances (at the discretion of Roberson Wine). To cancel a place on an event please contact us.
Roberson Wine encourages responsible drinking. It is a stipulation of the Licensing Act 2003 that we do not serve alcohol at our in-house events to people who appear to be intoxicated or who are under the age of 18 years.
Due to the high demand for our events and to maintain the group balance, there is a maximum of six tickets per customer for our events. Private tours can be arranged, please contact us for information.
Our general cancellation policy applies to all WSET courses. Refunds minus the cost of course materials are given upon cancellation within the cancellation policy. Entry Requirements for Examination Courses: Candidates must be over the legal minimum age for the retail purchase of alcoholic beverages in the UK.
Event gift vouchers are non-refundable
A 20-35% deposit is payable to secure a private event, with the balance payment due 2 weeks before the date of the event.
Please note there is no smoking in the Roberson Winery and, as it is a production environment, pets are not allowed. Depending on stock levels, wines mentioned in any documentation may be substituted with wines of a similar quality level. For events where catering is supplied, please note that we cannot provide a nut-free environment for the preparation of dishes.
