A full-flavoured, luxurious red wine made from partially dried grapes. This process takes 4 months and is called the 'appasimento' process. It gives the wine wonderful sweet fruit, with dark plum notes.
There's probably no other Valpolicella made that can compete with Allegrini's for quality, complexity, or for sheer drinking pleasure. A true bargain.
