- A wine of great elegance, with notes of red and dark fruits alongside hints of layered chocolate and mocha.
- Made from 100% Pinot Noir.
- Les Chanlins is located above and beside Les Rugiens, closer to the village of Volnay than to Pommard itself. It is a steeply sloping rocky plot producing a tense, mineral wine with very noble tannins.
- Would benefit from at least 5 years cellar ageing.
- Pairs very nicely with roasted pheasant or roasted pork.
