Nestled in the eastern reaches of Navarra, the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria mountains are a patchwork of dusty roads and old bush vine vineyards. This Garnacha is wonderfully intense, with bright red fruits, hints of spice and a beautiful texture. Easy drinking and elegant with careful use of oak to preserve the wild, energetic profile that defines this region.
Founded in 1985, Bodegas Ondarre have formed trusted relationships with the highest quality growers around the village of Viana. Their continued investment in the winery and barrel stock alongside the hardworking viticulturalists have validated Ondarre as a standard bearer for quality in La Rioja. This traditionally made Reserva Rioja has been aged 16 months in American and French oak barrels to impart subtle flavours and aromas to bring complexity and maturity.
Six generation family winemakers Bodegas Las Orcas have made a high quality Rioja at a great price. Made mostly with Tempranillo and a touch of Graciano, this Crianza has spent 14 months in French oak barrels.

It's officially a German wine but it's actually half French! Weingut Jülg, based in western Pfalz is just stone’s throw from the French border, and half of the estate vineyards are actually in Alsace. Winemaker Johannes has worked tirelessly in the vineyards planting new French clones in the pursuit of making wines with greater balance and complexity.
This bold, spicy, silky smooth Rioja comes from Bodega Lanzaga, a well known estate making wines from historical, old vine vineyards. Telmo Rodríguez has become a critically acclaimed winemaker, who has made wine in Burgundy and Bordeaux, before setting up Lanzaga in 1994.
Atma is a new range of wines that represent the essence of the winery and the grapes they cultivate, hence the name Atma, 'soul' in Greek. The grapes come from biodynamic vineyards in the Naoussa region, 600m above sea level, which gives the wine beautiful freshness.
A classic Gran Reserva Rioja with a mature bouquet offering rich fruit notes, plenty of spice, tobacco, leather and raisin characteristics. A combined aging of 5 years in both barrel and bottle before release has produced a complexity and elegance in the wine that is typical of high quality Rioja.
Inspired after working a harvest at leading Barolo producer Chiara Boschis, AB&D winemaker Sam Berketa has made this fascinating modernist style on Italy's 'King of Wines'. Made to be more approachable in its youth, it is a powerful wine with velvety mouthfeel.
Named after the unique soils found that consist of deep layers of gravel and stone, red wines from Graves are aromatic and refined with an attractive mineral quality. This wine has lovely berry fruit on the nose and a supple texture. Dark fruit and spice dominate the mid-palate providing excellent depth that is supported by firm but ripe tannins.
Inspired by Burgundy, made in Baden. After spending a year in Gevrey, Claus's son Johannes has taken over the reins at the family winery and is producing high quality wines that are incredibly good value. This lush Pinot from the warmer southern region of Baden is quite full, with lots of character and minerality.
Only the best grapes are selected to produce the Coto de Imaz from one of the regions best known producers. Tempranillo bush vines are aged between 35 to 55 years old and are low yielding, producing grapes with superb concentration of flavour balanced by vibrant acidity.

Sourcing fruit from the regions best vineyards, their wines have unique concentration, structure and longevity. This cuvée is a perfect introduction to the house style - a blend of old vine Grenache, Mourvèdre and Shiraz sourced from unique sites that make up the rich vinous heritage of the Barossa Valley. A combination of terroirs contribute to the complexity of this wine.
Bodegas Pujanza take a Burgundian approach to Rioja, focusing on the nuances between vineyard sites and paying attention to the particular features of each vintage. Their aim is to create Rioja in a fresher, more elegant style, with good back-bone. The Hado comes from several vineyard sites in Laguardia and is an ideal introduction to the wines of Pujanza.
A superbly ripe, open and inviting Chianti Classico from Castello di Querceto, the I Colombi offers exceptional value and partners beautifully with rich, meaty foods.
Finca Valdepoleo is one of the most emblematic vineyards of Bodegas y Viñedos Pujanza. The wine it produces is a clear example of the nature of the area in which it is located, but given a personal touch by Carlos San Pedro.
You may not have heard of Limniona before but it's definitely worth getting on your radar. Saved from the brink of extinction by winemaker Christos Zafeirakis, it produces gently textured, medium bodied wines with pretty red fruit character along with some herbal, savoury tones. Made from Organically farmed vineyards located in the foothills of Mt Olympus and vinified with indigenous yeasts.
