A delight for the eyes and palate, rosé wines fall somewhere between red wines and white wines in terms of colour, taste, and style. The beautiful pink in rosé comes from the skin of the grapes. Dark grapes with lots of pigment and longer maceration times give you a darker, sometimes almost fuchsia wine, while lighter skinned grapes with shorter maceration times give you lighter and paler pink wines. Made in a variety of methods, from saignée to maceration to assemblage, there is really a rosé for every season and occasion. Try charcuterie and seafood dishes with a lighter rosé and venture towards the adventurous with curries and even roast meats with a darker rosé. Our broad range of Rosé includes a range of stunning, summer ready Provence wines, to the rugged, volcanic island of Sicily, and even as far as the breezy coast of California.

"Pale salmon pink. Compelling aromas of plums and oranges. Juicy and saline flavours of orange zest, plums, flowers and a hint of sour cherry are mouth-watering and bright. The fantastic acidity and salinity knit together the fruit and floral qualities into an extremely tantalising wine that proves extremely difficult to merely sip rather than gulp enthusiastically. Utterly delicious." - 18 PTS, Alder Yarrow, JANCISROBINSON.COM
