- A charming wine with an intense ruby colour. On the nose, an immediate sense of black cherry, raspberry, then violet with a spicy touch on the finish. The sensation in the mouth is supple and rounded with a very present fruitiness.
- The vines, on the northernmost point of the Saint-Joseph appellation, are planted with Syrah on sandy soils at an altitude of 300 meters.
- François Merlin is one of the most exciting names in the Northern Rhône today.
