An elegant and refined Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County with lovely high toned fruit aromatics wrapped in delicate minerality. Complex and age-worthy, this is one of the best value Pinot Noirs coming out of California. This wine was recently awarded an impressive 95 points in a Decanter panel tasting of premium American Pinot Noir - the highest scoring Pinot from the USA.

Graham Tatomer is known more for his Rieslings and Grüner Veltliners (he spent four years with Emmerich Knoll in Austria’s Wachau before founding his winery in 2008), but aims for similar tension and energy in his Pinot Noirs. Fruit for this comes from a selection of vineyards located across Santa Barbara, fermented with 50% whole clusters and matured for 12 months in French oak, 10% new. - Decanter
