  • Situated on rolling hills at approximately 1,100 feet, this sustainably farmed plot is renowned for its fossil-rich, limestone-laden sandy soils
  • Grown 335m above sea level, these unique soils yield small vines and clusters
  • Planted in 1978, these hardy, own-rooted vines have adapted over time, digging deep for water and nutrients
  • The consistent breeze from the nearby Pacific Ocean offers a cooling balance

IN THE WINERY:

  • Grapes lightly foot-tread before pressing, fermented with wild yeasts and undergo full malolactic fermentation.
  • Aged in 500L oak puncheons on primary lees, followed by 6 months in stainless steel barrels
