Planted in 2000 in the stunning hills of the Petaluma Gap in Sonoma, Clary Ranch is Arnot-Roberts' coolest Syrah vineyard. Cool air currents from the Pacific create a protracted growing season resulting in deeply pigmented, flavourful fruit. This wine displays exotic spice notes, herbaceous aromatics and a high natural acidity.
Sourced from two vineyards in El Dorado County and grown at high elevation. Made in the Beaujolais style, where grapes undergo carbonic maceration, that results in a fresh, fruity and energetic wines. Aged in a mix of neutral oak and stainless steel before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Watson Ranch Vineyard is perched on a steep hillside overlooking the San Pablo Bay at the southernmost end of the Napa Valley. The cool windy conditions and calcareous soil produce wines with ample natural acidity and salinity.
Watson Ranch Chardonnay by Arnot-Roberts is a beautifully fresh white which has more in common with Chablis than the overblown Chardonnays traditionally associated with California.
