From the sunny slopes of Santa Rita Hills comes a Rosé that's both serious and easy-going. Expect notes of watermelon, wild strawberry, and lemon zest with a hint of sea salt. Its light, refreshing feel makes it perfect for summer days, from brunch to the beach. Behind this wine is the dedication of Drew and Laurie Duncan, who turned their 285-acre plot into an organic success. Earning 93 points from Wine Advocate and crafted sustainably, this rosé truly captures the spirit of Sta. Rita Hills.
"The 2020 Pinot Noir Estate is concentrated and structured and will benefit from more bottle time. Medium ruby, it has intense aromas of dried cranberry, burnt orange peel, cinnamon stick, aniseed, tar and chaparral. The medium-bodied palate is chalky and fresh with crunchy red fruits and loads of botanical and earthy accents, and it finishes with a touch of sweet spice across the finish." Mineral driven, delicate and crystalline. Lemon zest, brioche, and struck flint on the nose. Mouth-watering acidity with oyster-shell minerality on the palate of Meyer lemon and pear with a drop of candied lemon and sea salt on the finish.
