Expert Reviews

The 2017 Riesling Steinhügel is gorgeous. Orchard fruit, exotic floral notes, jasmine, mint and lemon confit are some of the notes that grace this exquisite Riesling from Graham Tatomer. The 2017 offers a compelling balance of aromatic nuance, racy fruit and soft curves, with an extra kick of textural richness from the well judged seven grams of residual sugar.

A review of the 2017 vintage

This Californian Riesling goes perfectly with goose and Christmas stuffing ciabatta canape. It's super aromatic, full of granny smith apple fruit and is luxuriantly silky. White can be a great pairing for Goose on the big day, particularly something with fairly high acidity and perhaps with some residual sugar which can stand up to the fat which is why the Riesling will work so well.
