This is an attractive and alluring Syrah from one of California's most highly regarded and pioneering wineries, Arnot-Roberts. An excellent chance to try a distinctly West Coast Syrah, this red is composed of grapes from vineyard sites across the Golden State.

The Syrah grapes for this wine are sourced from across the state. 57% of the fruit comes from the Rancho Arroyo Grande Vineyard, on the coast of San Luis Obispo. The rest of the vineyards are from various parcels along the wide-ranging Sonoma Coast, with 24% from Baker Lane Vineyard, 12% from Solas Vineyard, and 7% from Clary Ranch.
Each site is harvested and vinified separately, before being blended together to achieve optimal character. The wine ages 10 months in a combination of neutral French barrels (53%), 14hL French foudre (12%), and 40hL concrete tank (35%).
