Black fruit is interwoven with spice, crushed stone and grilled herb. All of the elements here are in place to showcase this promising Tuscan appellation. The elevation (up to 520 metres) and moderating effect of surrounding woodlands is felt in the fresh nuances of mint, tobacco, cedar and pine, as well as tangy acidity - yet there is ripeness to the exuberant cherry and blackberry fruits.
