<div class="productDescription">After mastering Provençal Rosé, Cédric Bourez along with his family started the quest for a characterful estate. One with a natural richness of terroir and a diverse soil profile. They fell in love with Anjou, their incredible old plots of Chenin Blanc blessed with the best orientations facing the Layon river. The vines are rooted in volcanic rock called “Spilite” and Loam, giving the wine soul and elegant nuances.

Notes of hazelnut and sesame on the nose. Ripe green pear complimented by a buttery caramelised peach flavour, cut through with rich confit lemon. Great complexity in the palate a well balanced wine
The average vine age is 20 years old.
Fruit is delicately hand harvested and fermented using indigenous yeasts found naturally on the skins of the grapes.
Drinking beautifully now but also has the potential to age 5 years.
Pair with a fragrant tomato-and-coconut curry with pieces of flaky white fish.

Eleven hectares of the finest tiny parcels of Anjou Noir, Pierre Bise, Moulin Brûlé Beaulieu-sur-Layon, Savennières and Chaume are now owned and farmed by Cédric and Myrtille Bourez and family. Having trained at Château d’Esclans... Read More >>
