This Chenin from Clos Galerne comes from centenarian vines grown on a beautiful 2ha parcel of well-draining green schist and sandstone. A pale yellow in glass, this Anjou delights with slightly candied citrus notes and beautiful minerality.
On first sample, this wine offers slightly woody and flinty notes. It is full and unctuous, with fantastic length.
Pair with lobster, sea bass, white meat, capon or turkey with chestnuts, or a fruit salad.
