Rich and concentrated on the palate, with layer upon layer of flavour, this is an extraordinary wine from vines running alongside Coche-Dury. Les Narvaux is an airy wine that is lively and balanced with aromas of white-fleshed fruit. It offers hints of toasted almond on the nose and is very long in the mouth. Mineral and energetic, it will only open up fully after a few years in the cellar.
Complex nose of citrus and cedar with nutty hints; lovely weight with an exceptionally long finish.
Les Narvaux is situated on the upper slopes of Meursault.
Produced from 100% Chardonnay. The grapes from this site ripen slightly later, maintaining beautifully fine, concentrated minerality.
Drink up to 10 years after release.
Savour this with lobster, roast white meats, or cauliflower soup.
