Austria > Weinviertel > Poysdorf
Produced from the single vineyard, 'Hermanschachern', which mirrors the soils of Chablis; rich in ancient fossils and oyster shells. Full-bodied, with great acidity, this excellently shows site definition. This is a Grand Cru of Austrian wines. The vineyard is now certified organic and suitable for vegans.

Sweet pear aromas on the nose; fresh, apple flavours and hints of herb on the palate; refreshing finish.
Vines are planted in limestone soils on a steep, southerly exposed site.
After three months on lees, the wine is filtered and matured in stainless steel vats.
Ready to drink now but could keep well up to five years after the vintage.
With its crisp flavours, Gruner Veltliner pairs well with Asian spiced dishes.
