Offers much more than your average Grüner Veltliner in terms of complexity and elegance. Dry and full of flavour, this is quite simply one of the most impressive we have ever tried at this price.
Vineyards & Winemaking
Grown in the loess soils of Poysdorf's Freiberg and Ebenthal vineyards, this Grüner Veltliner benefits from the area's warmer climate. Harvested in September 2022 and bottled in January 2022, it's produced using certified organic farming methods, a testament to the producers' commitment to sustainable viticulture. The Ebner Ebenauer Winemaking philosophy centres on emphasising fruit and elegance. Following a brief skin contact period (5 hours), the wine is pressed and fermented using cultured yeasts. It then spends three months on fine lees, adding depth to its character before filtration. The wine then rests in stainless steel tanks until bottling.

Dry, medium-bodied; apple flavours and peppery notes; fresh acidity, excellent balance.
