90% Nerello Mascalese and 10% Nerello Cappuccio - is beautifully fragrant with aromas of wild strawberry. It is aged, as the tradition in the region dictates, in chestnut barrels for 6-8 months. At its best young, juicy and served very lightly chilled, this red matches perfectly with rustic pasta dishes or a good pizza.
